As long as you properly maintain your tire with air, rotate and balance when needed and if the tread is good it should last you quite awhile.

If it was a tire plug(within the tread) I wouldnt be concerned. If the damage was incured on the sidewall, thats a problem. Was there damage to the belts within the sidewall? If a bubble developes on the sidewall, immediately have the tire replaced. As the tire heats and the air expands, could cause a blowout, resulting in loss of control of your car.

The patch will last as long as the tire. You can safely forget about it. It is one of those few thing in life that a permanent fix (but they call it a patch - go figure).

You just might need a new tire balancing. When the tires are balanced, they often do with less than one ounce of weight. You can easily get that much weight from the weight of the patch. just look out for slight vibration.

Good Luck

it will last alot longer than a plug one but it all depends on how good the tire was before it was patched if the tread was good and you rotate it like you are supposed to then it should be alright

If done right, it should last as long as the tire will last. good luck.
