I have a friend who is majoring in Kinesiology and I am afraid he will not make sufficient money after a long 4 years of college. It may be something to think about since he likes healthcare but wants to focus on sports medicine I think. What are his options?

He will certainly get serious consideration for med school. He just has to make sure he includes the chemistry, biology, and physics courses his school prescribes for pre-meds. Med schools actually like it that a person is qualified to do graduate work in kinesiology or medicine and decided on medicine.

He should ace his science courses. When I taught university chemistry, there was one man who was a pre-med advisor. The advisor wrote letters of recommendation for pre-meds. If the student's grades were not stellar, he would not recommend the student. And med schools were given to understand that the university was not behind any one not recommended by that advisor.
