transformers?

ok i have seen the film and i am shocked by the ammount of scoring it has on imdb (internet movie data base) it scores 8/10 what do you people think out of 10

I'm with you, for the most part. I thought it was pretty good, but there were too many dumb humans and not enough cool robots. In addition to this, the editing was horrirific, as the editing in all Michael Bay movies usually are. I think it could have been an 8/10 movie, or even better, had any other director in the world done it besides Bay. But it was what it was: entertaining special effects. I guess that constitutes an 8 for some people. I'd give it a 6.

I would give it 8 out of 10. This is coming from someone who never liked transformers. Did you prepare yourself for the film before you went to watch there are always a few points you must take into consideration
* director of film - in this case Michael (bayhem) Bay, so your gonna get action maybe no story but hes gunna blow **** up lol. Therefore if you get a story along with your explosions well that's just an added bonus.
*type of movie - basically all special effect scified up, if you don't like that stuff well theres just no point in debating the likely hood of robots being able to transform into cars and the credibility of events that happened, because all that gets thrown out the window with a scifi theme stretch your imagination, if there is more out there than us what makes you think they have to conform to the same rules as us. On a second note you gotta admit those effects where pretty good come on, seamless fast actions from plane to bot swinging from a bridge back to plane again, even the close ups where good.

In all I liked the film had a few one liners to keep the kids amused, because come on it was a pg, like the fantastic four 2 movie it had to acknowledge families to get its maximum yield, but didn't take away from the overall film, and hey the story wasn't too bad either.

I just enjoyed the fact they bought them to the screen like they did, the action alone gets a 10. Overall the only down time was the hacker issue, but Anthony Anderson was very funny. I enjoyed the movie, and I hop they make more. Overall I give it a 7 or 8.

i'd give it a ten! i didn't expect it to be that good even though i was really looking forward to it. but i LOVED it. the graphics where AMAZING and the way they made all the transformers move just blew me away! the plotline, though it didn't seem like much was there, was just perfect. i was never bored through the whole thing yet at the same time wasn't distracted by any part of the story line to much to not be able to pay attentio to the rest.

i think the only way i would of hated it is ifi had been a HUUUUUGE transformers fan and saw thet changes they had made.

I saw the movie and LOVED it. I give it a 9/10 for lack of character development on the Decepticons and some material that it could have done without due to kids watching. I heard there's another one coming out in '09 and I can't WAIT for that to come out!! :-D

I dunno bout the rating, but I really don't understand why it was so great. I saw it and was a little disappointed. It was ok, but I thought the voices of the Transformers were retarded! I give it maybe a 6.
