Yes, you can drop in Levels if you lose points, either by violations or by asking a lot of questions.

levels go up and/or down based on points - yes, your level will go down if your points drop below your current level.

Yes it can depending on what exactly your score is. (E.g. if you have 2,502 points and ask a question, it'll put you back in level 3)
