SAT exams (as well as GREs, GMATs, LASTs and MCADs) are good for five years.
You shouldn't have to retake it.

No, you won't HAVE to retake the SAT. You're current score is good for at least five years for most colleges.
However, you might want to. You'll probably score a lot better, especially on the verbal section, since you'll have a lot more reading practice. I retook the test this spring after a two years of college and my score improved 100 points.
PS- make sure you have a good college GPA. Colleges don't care about the HS grades of potential transfers nearly as much as the college grades.
PPS-Give the school you're going to in the fall a shot. If you go in expecting to hate it, it will suck. Even if you're 100% decided to transfer, try not to spend a year of your life hating where you are.

It depends if you have already taken the SAT and whether the college you are planning to transfer to requires SAT scores of transfer students. In California, all the UC's and CSU's DO NOT review SAT scores for students. However, all higher end schools like Stanford, Yale, Princeton will review SAT scores. If you have already taken the SATs, you may use those scores for applying for transfer to other institutions.

You shouldn't. I think SATs are good for like 5 years. The new school will probably ask for transcripts and the SAT scores. They might make you take some placement tests. It's really not a big deal.

Only if you didn't get a good enough score the first time to get in to the school you are transferring to. If you are transferring more than 30 credits (usually), schools generally don't require the score anymore because they can just use your transfer GPA as the admittance gauge.

Go to your school consuler and request the proper form. Pay the fee. There should be somewhere close that the test is being given. Study hard.

No. Give the first college some time, though. Don't set yourself up for not liking it already.
