In the "Protection Racket" You first offer the mark protection from harm. If he refuses to pay for your "Protection" you arrange a small sample of what life without "Protection" is like. Usually the mark is then willing to pay. You never harm a paying mark unless they refuse to pay. You will not see another terrorist attack as long as the Republicans control the White House.

It certainly seems that way, from the debunked 9/11 attack to the nazi financing forefather of the current president.

I think there is alot more to it then this simple racketeering business though, never before in the history of the USA have we needed to have the laws bushy is writing down, not even in ww1 or ww2, so why now? there is no logical answer, other then the worst fears we have about a hostile takeover.

Well it could be looked at like that. We are already trading our liberty for so called "safety" because the government tells us it needs more power to protect us from the terrorists. With attitudes like I'm not doing anything wrong or if it protects me, we see people giving up precious liberty to the government for "protection" from terrorists. Problem is if we give the government more and more power to protect us from these "terrorist", then whose going to protect us from the government? Hitler promised the German people the same thing, and it didn't do them any good.
