I see on some of the questions people are referred to as "Trolls". What does that mean exactly? I know the mythology of a troll and what Lord of the Rings say what a troll is exactly, but what are yall referring to when you call someone a "Troll" or "Troll Destroyer"

Someone who posts things online just to incite others. Often racist or homophobic or sexist comments are expressed. The troll hides behind the mask of internet anonymity.

Quite frankly, I can't think of a bigger waste of time (and breath).

A "troll" in a chat room or public discussion board is someone who deliberately posts stupid, hurtful, or rude things. They don't have a genuine question or answer - they are just trying to say rude things. Good examples are the guy who promotes white supremacy, or jokes about how women "need to smacked around", or muses about molesting little kids, stuff like that.
