Film critic Roger Ebert considers this to be one of the worst films he has ever seen, referring to it as "a vile bag of garbage... without a shred of artistic distinction."

the bath scene is almost comical. the blood looks like red paint and the guy takes 30 seconds to realize his package has been severed.

Roger Ebert conveniently forgets that he wrote his own vile bag of garbage without a shred of artistic distinction. It was called BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS. Someone should tell him about throwing stones around glass houses.

Unlike Ebert's "creative" offering to the world of cinema, at least the creators of I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE never pretended to be giving us anything other than the drive-in movie exploitation movie that it is.

That's Ebert for you.

It's a really bad revenge flick with some decent violence including the removal of the male appendage in a bubble bath. If you like cheap movies with bad acting then this may be for you!

I just thought it was depressing and awful. I could hardly watch it really, I fast forwarded through most of it.
