wel..i dnt know wats the difference between those above.
ii m actually intreasted in stiching my dresses like salwar kameez,tops etc so what should i learn.plz help me.
tel me some books that will teach me basics.

Books won't do it, sweetheart. You need to find a person who knows how to do it and have them oversee your first project. I'm glad you're excited about this, and you can get lots of books about these subjects at the library. But nothing can replace a teacher until you get the hang of it.

Knitting is two needles and is for blankets, baby boots, baby clothes, but you don't usually make adult garments unless you are really proficient.

Crochet is with one hook and is used to make afghans, clothing (yarn clothing), warm scarves, socks, etc., etc.

Stitching, I think you mean sewing, with a sewing machine to make garments, is not too hard, but you need help. I'm so glad you've got interested in a constructive project. All young people should do something constructive during their summer.

stitching, you would use a needle and thread, knitting, 2 knitting needles and a skein of your, crocheting, 1 crochethook and a skein of yarn. your choice, and depends on waht you are looking to make
