Will they deal with her at all? This is not a negative comment about Hillary, but of women leaders in general. The Muslim leaders would HAVE to deal with our leader regardless of how they feel about her sex. They will just have to deal with it - your thoughts?

Perhaps they will honor her for having so much money to shut down the concept of Universal Health Care in the USA.

In their culture, women fall just below the camel on the chain of importance. Women there have no voice, no power, and just have to sit back and do as they are told.

If Hillary were to be elected, they would smile nicely at her and nod their little puppet heads, then go on and continue their terroristic ways. She would not be accepted or respected. Same thing for Condeleeza Rice. Don't send a woman to do a "man's" job is their philosophy. It would be fanatastic if a FEMALE soldier captured/killed Osama Bin Laden or any of his high ranking commanders. At least that might get their attention amd let them know that American woman are capable in all areas of life.

Hillary won't be dismissed for several reasons:

First, on a pragmatic level, Middle East leaders can't simply dismiss the President of the United States no matter who he/she is. That would be dismissing the most powerful diplomatic and military force in the world, which would be hugely detrimental. Some leaders in the Middle East may be sexist, but they aren't complete idiots.

Second, empirically female leaders have not been dismissed. Speaker Nancy Pelosi went to the Middle East this summer, met with several high level officials, and was taken seriously. German PM Angela Merkel has also enjoyed productive diplomatic relations with several Middle Eastern nations.

Third, most Middle Eastern leaders were educated in the West and, by and large, aren't actually sexist.

They will deal with her. There really would not be any other choice as she would be the leader of the free world. The real question is would they respect her authority? On the surface the answer is yes because that authority is backed by the most powerful military machine that the world has ever seen.

Ask them about Golda Meir, or Indira Ghandi, Margaret Thatcher or Patil the first woman president of India.
They will listen, they have in the past, and no one ever thought Golda or Margaret were patsies because they were women. They have to deal with Rice now, a female who isn't even a leader, but a cabinet member.

Rice has gone to the middle east and I hadn't heard anything about her being ignored because she's a she. One predominantly-muslim nation, Pakistan, was even briefly ruled by a woman, so there must be some flexibility in how they percieve women.

Thats a good question . I think that the Muslim leaders would dislike us even more . Them thinking women are beneath them , it would make them think we are weaker than they already do . I think it would put us in a bad position worldwide if a female women was president . I really dont think america is ready for it . It might not ever be .

Well I think that they would refuse to even talk to her. Over there they don't have much respect for women even if they are the president ultimately I think that she would just be dismissed as stupid just because she was a girl. She may even get death threats or something serious if she goes over there. I mean they really hate women which is totally wrong!!

although i am more opposed to her becoming president than anyone on the planet, i dont think this would be the case. weve had female secretary's of state for about 10 years now, and many females have been heads of state all over the world - including in indida, germany, and britain.

I think they would have absolutely no respect for Hillary, not because she is a women but because of her scandalous, widely known, sordid past and overall lack of morality.

She is the walking epitome of everything they regard as pandering, evil and adulterous in women. Akin to a lowly prostitute in their eyes. They would give her no credence.

She, personally, would stand before them as a blatant example of all they claim is wrong with the west and that in of itself would only antagonize them and rally them against us.
