Junie, yes, excessive stress can do that. And if you think about it, you'd want it that way. You see, stress produces chemicals in your body that can affect the fetus and it's development, so that's not good for either of you.

Make an appointment with a counselor who can determine whether your stress level needs more professional help, or just some de-stressing techniques you can do at home. Either way, here is one that's excellent for you, and amazingly simple to do: take a deep breath through your nose, hold it for 2 to 3 seconds, then let it out of your mouth while your lips are pursed (like when you whistle.) Good luck.

Yes!!! If you think too much about trying to get pregnant you may have trouble. My sister was trying for a few years with no luck so they adopted, 2 months later she was pregnant. I really think its cause she finally stopped thinking about it!

Of course....stress can cause a multitude of problems! If you're having a hard time trying to conceive I would talk to your doctor! Especially if you're able to understand that you are indeed under stress that can cause many problems itself! I would talk to your doctor and see what he/she suggests!

I'll be praying for you sweetheart that you're able to conceive and have a natural, happy and healthy pregnancy!

God Bless you!

Absolutely! It can delay or even stop ovulation - without an egg, there will be no baby.

Try to relax, and GOOD LUCK!!! Baby dust!
