Why worry? What we put our attention on, tends to manifest in our lives. Why not put attention on what is wanted, rather than what is not wanted?

That differs depending on how much you worry, but if you walk up to the stairs worrying about falling down them, then id imagine you have a higher chance of falling down, as a result of the worry. Likewise if you dont worry about anything at all, then the percentage of things that you worry about that come true will be 0.

I try not to go there. If I don't worry, I can just take life as it comes. Its kind of like when I lived in the bay area for the '89 quake. It happened. We dealt with it. We moved on. Life is more peaceful this way.

Very little. I don't have any statistics, but most people worry about things that never happen, and are caught off-guard and unprepared when the unexpected does happen. It's an ironic way of life.
