'Poof' should know why men are bad in bed - he's banged so many guys!
Men are no worse lovers than women.
I coudl make a sweeping genealization and say,
"Many, no most, women just lay there and expect everything to be done to them. They are unimaginative lovers who are boring to be with. No wonder men want to swing."
That's about as sh*tty and as stupid a comment as poof's. He's just kissing a$s trying to score points with the women. As if all women are such terrific lovers. Please. We've all been with the cold fish, the mostly dead, the eww don't get any on me, the ick no, the that tickles don't do that, the oh no you don't, the what kind of a girl do you think i am, the 'jesus says that's a sin' broads. They are out there in full force. Don't try to hand me that 'men are bad lovers' horsesh*t. You can stuff that egg right back up the chikcen, pal.
Honestly - men want to swing so they can screw other women and have their wives be okay with it.
Simple enough.

There is something missing some where. I do not swing but I have friends who I suspect do. They are different in many way, I think swinging is just part of their make up.
In my opinion, it is not that they are dissatisfied with their partner it is that they need more than the other can supply. There is also the excitement of something new (and in my opinion lack of regard for the risk). They are just a little more adventurous and free spirited than the rest of us.

Some people are dopamine deficient and need that skydiving feeling in their life just to feel it. It's like being a little numb. Your brain does not register as much pleasure as the next person.
The food has to be a little spicier, the car a little faster and of course sex has to be a little racier.
It's the risk and newness that they enjoy.
I know many, many swingers who are very happy and keep a closed circle of sexual partners all of whom get tested regularly.
Most of them are doctors, lawyers, teachers, accountants... very educated, wonderful giving people who would give you the shirt off of their back.
The only problem I encounter is when only one of the couple is not secure enough to handle it. You can't be petty and jealous... or you will be doomed.
Most women are VERY reticent to try it but they are the ones who REALLY get into it and keep the couple in the lifestyle.

No, they ask you to swing becaue they want to swing. It has nothing to do with how good you are in bed. This has to do with him (or her) just wanting your blessing for extramarital sex. They think if they drag you along, you will commit the same adultery....so all is well. You probably have other issues in this marriage. Likely it is cheating. Think about this carefully. You may want to get out now and save yourself a case of Herpes or other STDs.

Why do people always think swinging is about wanting sex with someone else? Why does it mean you shouldn't get married? Swapping partners and threesomes are just other types of sex. There are lots of reasons for wanting/being cuious about it that have nothing to do with loving someone or wanting to be with that person forever. No more so than wanting something other than the missionary position does at least. If she wanted to be on top, would you assume it is because you dont' know what you are doing when you are on top? If she wanted it doggy, would you assume she can't stand to look at you?

With the disease & critters why would you. If your both not secure in your relationship an want to add to your sex life than adding someone in will be the end of your marrage.

Here are some facts. Many men....let me make that most men...are not good lovers. They tend to concentrate on how they feel versus how they are making their partner feel. Here is another fact...men tend to get into routines and become boring in bed...it takes out all the romance and excitement that most women love.
You wife may love you, but that doesn't mean you sexually turn her on. If your wife wants to swing, blame it on yourself, dude.
