I guess it depends on what you want to use the name for...

Contrary to what "U for Uranium" said, I did once know a girl named Cricket, and she was, in fact, a stripper, but that's a different story.

Fact is, that's the only "Cricket" (besides bugs, that is) that I've ever known, so to me, it is and always will be a "stripper name." I wouldn't sentence any daughter of mine to a lifetime of having that as people's first impression of her, so I have to give it a 0 if you're choosing names for your children.

On the other hand, if you are actually LOOKING for a stage name for a stripper, Cricket would be great! It's at least a 9 out of 10 on the "Stripper Stage Name" scale.
