This late in the pregnancy it is almost impossible to tell. Have you had any ultrasounds done and did they adjust your due date after them? Also, have you measured big at any other appt?

Well, you typically will measure a week bigger than what you really are, and if I go by the first day of your last period (Jaan. 20th), it puts you at about 25 weeks along, so you should technically measure out at 26 weeks. Since you're at 27, this "could" indicate that the baby is going to be a little bigger than the average 7.5 lbs, but sonograms are not exact, so you have to keep that in mind. They should be able to get a better read on the true size of the baby as you progress through your third trimester.

My dates are exactly right. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and at my 20 week ultrasound, my dr. told me that the baby is measuring 10% bigger than she should be. And at my visits when he measures me, she measures about a week or 2 bigger. But here's the kicker.....I have only gained 1 pound. My Dr. says he's not worried because obviously the baby is growing. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my other 2 girls only weighed 7 pounds and I think they measured big too.

You cant really tell at that point because babies grow at different rates durring that period. My third pregnancy the baby was measuring big, and then he slowed down because he was born full term and only weighed 5 lbs 15 oz, you have to just wait and see.

u could just have a big baby...i was measuring at 34 weeks when i was only 29 weeks pregnant...ur baby just has growth sperts, later on in your pregnancy it might slow down and even out abit. or u could still have a big baby..its nothing to worry about.my baby was a good size and weighed 9lb she came 7days early which is fine.

Are you talking fundal height of the uterus or u/s measurements? Fundal height can be up to 4 cm off with no problems, u/s measurements can be off alot
