this is how you do it:
1) first you divide 15 by 2 which is 7.5 the you do the equation 2-7.5 which equal -5.5
2) first you divide 15 by 2 which we know is 7.5 then you subtract 2 which in this case will be positive answer being 5.5

It is easiest to change 15/2 into a decimal. 15 divided by 2 is 7.5. Now, 2-7.5 is going to be negative. 7.5-2 will be positive. The number is the same, though. 7.5-2 = 5.5. 2-7.5 is -5.5.
