Internet is communication revolution. just imagine, I am answering your question, presumably you are form USA, guess what am from the other side of the globe.
I remember the time when my dad communicates overseas thru telex. such primitive method nowadays, even overseas phone call now is too cheap, welcome VOIP.
so what is internet you ask? information super hiway they say. depends on how you use it. for businesses it's a way of communication with the least expense.
for researchers, it is a God's gift to school boys and girls, for countries, it's a way to learn about current events updated in real time. exact definition of the internet. i do not know.

It's sybor space an uncontrolled universe Another step up for man kind, like graduating to the next level. Lets see what happens next.
Not so different, it should almost be thought of a a new plate. Starting fresh. All the same old problems will arise and not much different than within our history books. BUT have we learned form the past? can we evolve nicely? and with out suffering? Who will take over and control us next, who will be the robbers? The big guys we elect? or the small guys we put in jail, either way we pay the room and board.
Or will we see behind and beyond? Will we take the opportunity to build a better future.

Al Gore invented it to spread his Global Warming doomsday theory.
It was a military communications network turned over to the public sector. It is nothing more than a bunch of computers that talk to each other. A web page could look professional but is on a computer in someones basement.
It is a curse and a blessing. Curse because there is no regulation you have to cross check the info to verify if it is good information, A blessing, we can get so much data so easy.

Um....you're on the internet now. The internet is a network of millions and millions of websites. It enables people from all over the world to communicate instantly, which has a bearing on relationships, trade, commerce -- just about every type of human contact there is. It also offers websites that specialize in everything from how to cook cabbage, to how to make videos. Before the advent of the internet, people had to depend on much slower forms of communication, and it wasn't as far-reaching as going to your computer and pushing buttons. This is about as accurately as I can explain the system to you, but perhaps some experts can give you a more technical explanation.
