I would have liked to know what happened with their last year at Hogwarts, would they have had to do it over again and what did our main characters do for the summer! Since we wont get to read about it in the next book. I had more but cant remember right now. I was a very good ending though.

The end was terribly cheesy, confusing, and too short. Sure they say she wrote it ages ago (the 19 years later bit) but she could have made it far less confusing and far more detailed and only used a few more pages. I mean, the way she just threw all those kids' names in all at once without going into much description was terribly confusing and it would to have been nice to know about what happened after the fall of Voldemort and before the epilogue.

I mean we don't have to know everything but more than just Voldemort dying and then suddenly it's nearly 2 decades later. I dunno, I think another follow-up book might ruin the magic.

The whole book needed more, and the ending was to short, she should have told what happened to all the characters not just those few main ones. Also there were to many pointless deaths in the book, with to little information about things.

Well, considering they weren't at Hogwarts for the vast majority of the book...nothing happened to them there, except what was at the very end of the book!

Personally, I think it would have been nice to have some additional scenes dealing with those characters who were at Hogwarts (Luna, Neville, Ginny, etc) and how they were interacting with Snape, but JKR didn't need it to tell the story - if she had, she would have put it in there, somehow.

I want to see how they all get together, cause Ginny and Harry never officially got together at the end. I want to see them go out again, and what Ron's and Hermione's relationship is like as boyfriend and girlfriend and not best friends, and see if they bicker more or less. I want to see their weddings, maybe they had a double wedding =). There is so much being missed out. Just because it's the end of Voldemort doesn't mean it's the end of their lives.

I was watching America's Got Talent last night and they showed a commercial where the Today show is doing an interview with Rowling and it said something about it being over and then it shot up in big words on the screen "Or Is It"...so who knows what she has up her sleeves, the book series may not be done after all.

Yeah I wanted more, but I'm one of those people who always want more from the ending of a book; I just have to know every little detail.

I would have. I was really eager to know if the Hagrid-Madame Maxime relationship would progress at all.
Luckily, though, J.K. Rowling has confirmed that she will be writing an 'encyclopedia' about all of the characters and their personal histories.

I liked the ending. There will always be a sense of incompleteness for a lot of people though.

We need to just keep on reading, reading, reading... What should we read next should ne the question...
