Ok...I am a Red Sox fan and this is a stupid question...It should say Red Sox, Tigers, Indians, or Angels....who goes to the World Series? To that I say Red Sox....Yanks might not even make the playoffs so I am not even counting them in World Series discussion unless they get to first in the Wild Card race

Sox of course. They have great pitching and a strong bullpen. Not to mention in the playoffs you can go with a shorter rotation, due to so many off days, so assuming a healthy strong Schilling, Beckett and Dice-K. Imagine that with the bullpen including Okajima and Papelbon.
The Yankees have not proven anything yet to even be mentioned in the same sentence as the Red Sox. Yes, they have beat up on the lowly Devil Rays and Royals but looking back what have the done against the Playoff caliber teams? Not much. I do not count the six wins against the Sox becasue regardless of the records of either team the two of them always bash one anothers heads in.

Whoever is hot at the right time is going to win the world series. It's logic it always happens it could be a wildcard team who just got in the playoffs or a division winner who gets a big lead and barley gets pass in the playoffs. Those types of teams always win it just matters how you play that's all it matters.

Red Sox or Tigers, not Red Sox or Yankees. Too well balanced, too close to call. I hope it's the Red Sox as well.

If it's one or the other, I will have to say the Red Sox because the Yankees aren't making the playoffs.
But in reality, I say Cleveland will make it to the series. (Detroit as the second choice)

Wow! Another fan who doesn't realize that Baseball is played in 26 other cities besides New York and Boston! How original! Neither!! Contrary to popular belief, being one of the two top teams in the AL East is not a pre-requisite for a World Series berth!
