we bought a house and the bathroom was not done with its remodeling. well thy forget to put something on the bottompart of hte tub to lay on the floor. not the tile is getting wet because there is nothing protecting it from getting wet. i am not sure on what its called please help me and where can purchase it.

Not sure exactly what the situation is from your description, but it sounds like a tub surround seal is what you are looking for. It's like weather-stripping for a bathroom. You can find it at Home Depot, Lowe's or a well-stocked hardware store. It's got a sticky back, and you lay it at the bottom of the tub where it meets the tile. Wouldn't be a bad idea to caulk it first , too.

What you are looking for is cove base. It comes in different colors, standard 2 1/2" or 4" width, rolled or 48" slats. You'll need cove base adhesive, caulk gun, and grooved trowel. Make sure that the floor to tub seam is caulked before you install.

Most tubs don't have anything there except perhaps a bead of caulk. I have seen quarter-round molding across the edge but this is not typical.
