I have a Dell E1505 and want to upgrade the Video card(not to mention the ram.lol)Anyway, heres what the computer says about my video card...

Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon X1400
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x7145)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Display Memory: 382 MB
Dedicated Memory: 127 MB
Shared Memory: 255 MB

Is there any way i can upgrade to 512 mb? I dont care if it will be Nvideo or ATI....Is there a website i can SEE how to put it in specifically for a Dell E1505?How much will this cost me?

actually the x1400 is not part of the mother board, its a PCI-e graphics card, it is possible to upgrade if you can find a replacement Mobile Graphics card. I know as i have the same laptop and gfx card. And iv seen it done witha replacement gforce 7800 mobile card. As for 512 MB i dont know if they make Laptop cards with that much memory, as Far as ive seen there is only 256 MB dedicated.

You cannot upgrade video cards in laptops, so you basically have no options, sorry to disappoint. Video cards in laptops are part of the motherboard, so no upgrades are possible.
