Good luck trying to convince emotional liberals of that.

People are too wrapped un in the idea of lies... the real issue is the dishonesty of this administration in regards of the war. There are many former CIA agents, including the former director, that have said that the administration "cherry picked" the intelligence for the war. Bush cited only the documents, that were often highly disregarded by the CIA as not reputable or credible, for the decision to go to war. Bush purposely disregarded credible sources that disputed the intelligence he used.
I am not saying that Bush is a liar... politicians are typically smart enough NOT to be caught in a lie but they are often dishonest. BTW, Bush's own people put up the sign on that ship... it was not the media who pot that sign up and it was not the Navy's decision to put that sign up either... maybe he didn't know it was going to be hanged but come on... that stuff is way too orchestrated to be spontaneous.
You can like Bush and you can defend him, that is your right... but a lot of people (actually the majority of Americans) think he was dishonest about this whole war. Time will tell but he has had a lot of time to explain himself better and he has never yet explained a lot of the questions about this war.
I live in Texas and I am from a conservative family who has been in Texas for many generations. My family supported Bush for many years and now very few of them believe what he says. I know a lot of people on here are trying to make this a lib/con thing but I can tell you that a lot of conservatives do not like this president.

The Bush administration "spent $1.4 billion in taxpayer dollars on 137 contracts with advertising agencies over the past two-and-a-half years, according to a Government Accountability Office report released by House Democrats" on February 13, 2006, Richard Williamson reported for Adweek. "With spending on public relations and other media included, federal agencies spent $1.6 billion on what some Democrats called 'spin.'"
The GAO reported that the "six largest recipients of ad and PR dollars were" Leo Burnett USA, $536 million; Campbell-Ewald, $194 million; GSD&M, $179 million; J. Walter Thompson (JWT), $148 million; Frankel & Company, $133 million; and Ketchum, $78 million. "The agencies received more than $1.2 billion in media contracts, according to the report," according to Adweek.

reasonable souces? you mean another country's intel, that conflicted with our own?
Bush doesn't normally lie, he just states things in such a fashion, so people who have problems with critical thinking assume a false idea.
He ignores and drowns out any conflicts with his agenda as democrat bias, or outright ignores it. He uses only what supports his opinion, regardless of its accuracy.
typical neocon.
one does not have to lie, to imply, or make someone assume a lie.

The libs forget that a lie is ONLY a lie if you know it to be a lie before you say it. And they did find WMDs in Iraq and Hussein used WMDs before. The libs can't face the facts that even their own kind said Hussein had WMDs...

Mission accomplished is media spin? HELLO!!! It was a photo op designed by the whitehouse.
Bush was told by a reasonable source(CIA) that there WEREN'T WMDs in Iraq and that Iraq had nothing to do with 911.

I looked at the answers so far, and of course, they can't answer the question as you asked it. Just more Bush lied crap and no quotes. They chant their mantra over and over, because their heros like Nancy Sheehan and Michael Moore say it all the time.

I'm thinking of so many episodes of the Daily Show with Bush's news clips...I'll try to get back with you on that, but I may be on the floor laughing for quite awhile.

google "Bush Lies" with the quotation marks. There are nearly 400,00 entries. If only a fraction of one percent of these are true, then we have a problem. Do your own research on this. The truth will set you free.
