When i named my other 3 children, the names were so easy to pick out i honestly don't even remember thinking about names it just came naturally! This one is soo different and my husband isn't very helpful! He tells me im stressing out way too much and that i'll come across a good name sooner or later. But i don't have all the time in the world to wait for a good one. Anyways here are the names i'm considering:
Alyna Monet
Adelyn Monet
Celia Monet
Kiah Monet
Parker Monet
Savanna Monet
As you can probably tell i really love the middle name Monet, i have known for a while i was going to use this, but for some reason i can't get myself to get over the name Jayla Rae....i don't know why, but it just feels right, yet i want to use a different name!
Should i choose one of the names i am in love with or the name that i feel fits the baby and can't get myself to stop thinking about it??

I really don't like the name Jayla Monet, i don't know why but hearing it makes me cringe! And for Alyna it's not that hard to prounounce (A-lay-na)

I really like both Adelyn Monet and Jayla Rae. I don't like Parker for a girl. Maybe if you can limit it down to just a couple of names, when you see your little baby's face, you will know just which name to choose.

When I was 38 years old, my husband was 39 and our children were 18, 15, and 12, we had a surprise baby, conceived when I had been taking birth control pills for 11 years. We had an exceptionally difficult time choosing names for the baby. My husband and I chose not to find out the sex ahead of time so we had to come up with a boy name and a girl name. Because our other 3 children were old enough to have some pretty firm convictions of names they did NOT like, we opted to put a legal size piece of paper on our kitchen counter and anyone who had a name suggestion could write it down with the firm rule that no one could make a bad comment about anyone else's name choice. We didn't come up with an agreeable name choice for a girl until I was 40 weeks (fortunately the baby came at 41 weeks) and I went into labor with no "for sure" boy's name picked out yet. My good friend's sister had a name all picked out for her girl, but when she was born, the name just didn't suit her and they ended up naming her something completely different despite having some gifts already printed with the first name they picked out. I'm kind of on the side of your husband, don't stress too much over it, the right name will present itself. I don't think there is anything wrong with a baby having 2 middle names. My father-in-law has 2 middle names as did his father. Several people that graduated with my older children also had 2 middle names and a fair number had no middle name at all. I like Jayla Rae-Monet or maybe Jayla-Rae Monet. If I saw the name Alyna, I would pronounce it A-Lee-Na or wouldn't be surprised if it was pronounced A-Lynn-A, but I would be surprised to see it is pronounced A-Lay-Na. I really don't like Parker for a girl, way too boy-ish in my opinion. I would pick a name you really love, but don't rule out the name you think fits the baby. After she is born, you don't have to name her right away. Take some time getting to know her and then pick the name you think is right.

I love the name Adelyn. I don't like this name with the middle name Monet though. Maybe you could add an extra middle name

I also Like the name Savanna I would spell it Savannah though. I think it flows nicely with Monet.
If Jayla Rae is the name that is calling to you you should keep it in mind. Jayla Rae Monet works if you want two middle names. It breaks it up so maybe that way it won't make you cringe. I say pick another name too and when you give birth to her, she will tell you which one is right for her!

Jayla Rae is a nice name. Mothers to be have a sixth sense about things. This may be why you can't get it out of your head. I do like the names Adelyn Monet and Parker Monet. You should spend a day calling your baby by one name and switching to something else the next day. Also try using it with your other children's names and see what flows best. Congratulations!

Ha, I've had 4 and am FREAKING out about this name. Couldn't get prego for 6 years and all of a sudden am 35 and shocked. I think I'm brain dead after all these years because I am in the same boat. I like Jayla Rae and think that is in your heart. Monet is pretty but ... it sounds like you will always think of Jayla Rae. You're the second Parker I've seen today. I like Chase! but no one else does.

Monet is a great middle name choice! Celia Monet is quite lovely. Jayla Rae practically rhymes. Parker is a boys name and even if you do like it on a girl, think of all the Jr. High teasing "Yeah, that's Parker, I'd really like to 'park her' "

Jayla Rae is beautiful. Go with your heart. Sleep on it and the first name you think of in the morning should be it.
If not - Celia Monet is the best of the bunch or try Celia Rae, that's pretty too.

In those names my favorite ones are Alyna and Adelyn. But if you wanna go for Alyna, just write it as Alayna because then people are gonna think her name is A-leen-a. or A-lynn-a. kk? =) Dont name her parker whatever you do. Thats a guy name. Good luck! Jayla Rae sounds alright but Jayla kinda reminds me of Jail... and thats not really pretty... but anyways good luck :)
