I have a four month old as well who is only eating 4 oz. at a time and at about the frequency yours is. Some babies (especially those on breastmilk) will consistently eat like ours are doing. Your baby is old enough now to try a little rice cereal in her bottle at night time. This will allow her to feel more full for a longer period of time. We started doing this with our daughter about a week ago and now she almost sleep through the night. But, if you are breastfeeding, or pumping, you need to make sure to keep your supply up because she'll be going through a growth spurt soon and you'll need it.

You've heard it once - you'll hear it a million times more . . . All babies are different! my daughter was the EXACT same way as yours. Imagine my disbelief when I saw a baby younger than mine gulping down 6 ounces! My baby is 11 (and half) months, and still drinking 6 ounces, which she started eating at about 4 months. So, don't worry . . . she'll let you know when she's ready for more!

She'll eat when she's hungry. All kids are different. My 4 year old did 8 ounces at a time and we fed her every 4 -5 hours. My 2 year old only took 3 ounces every 2 hours. As long as she's eating well, let her determine what she can take in.
Good Luck!

my baby is 17 weeks old and weighs almost 15lbs he drinks hungrier baby formula, He is great at taking solids took from the spoon right away, and can even use a cup with 2 handles (although he does get soaking) to drink some cooled boiled water from on hot days! Ill probably get thumbs down for giving him solids before 6 months but I dont care ive spoken to my HV Works like this although this is approx and he doesnt always finish his bottles 7am - 7oz 10am - 5oz and a rusk mixed with water 1pm - 6oz 4pm - 5oz and few spoonfulls of dinner and pudding bathtime 7pm - 7oz Then he goes to sleep 7.30-8pm and thats him till the next morning

Babies do not eat if they're not hungry. They need to feed on demand, because they have tiny tummies that only hold so much. You can not "get her" to eat more in one sitting if she's not ready for it. As long as she's gaining proper weight, leave well enough alone.

She's gaining weight and thriving, leave her be. Encouraging a baby to drink more from a bottle than they want can lead to obesity both now and in the future.
This is why breasts don't have oz markings, you should always watch the baby NOT the numbers.

Just leave her alone. She is eating the amount that she needs. As long as she is gaining weight, do not worry. You shouldn't judge your child's appetite with another child. All children eat different things and different amounts. She is fine, do not try to force her to eat. Enjoy her while she is little, she will grow very fast.
