The Cleveland AL franchise adopted the name "Indians" in 1915. Counting from there, the earliest Indians players to make the Hall were Stan Coveleski (1916-24) and Tris Speaker (1916-26).

Speaker was also the first Indian inducted, in 1937.

Nap Lajoie (inducted 1937) played for the pre-Indians team, 1902-14.

So did Cy Young (elected 1936, original class), from 1909-11.

Covelski was elected in 1969.

Are you talking about the first Cleveland Indian team member, or are you talking about the first Native American who played baseball and made it to the Hall o' Fame?

(Please beware of subject-verb-antecedent disagreements in your writing - to wit, Indian, not Indians.)
