He is good but Leonardo DiCaprio is better. Leo is an extremely versitile actor. When Leo starred in the movie Total Eclipse where he played a Gay Arthur Rimbaud,he played this role so well that's when everyone thought he really was gay & that was when the rumour started.In all his films he always give the ppl what they want & look for! He is by far the #1 actor in Hollywood in my book & I love him!

I seriously dispute any American being named as "Best actor" but there are certain very good actors like Depp ,Pacino ,Duvall and De Niro but none of them compare with "real" actors such as Sir Ian McKellan ,Patrick Stewart ,Anthony Hopkins or Peter O`Toole - or even the late greats like Richard Burton etc.

Samuel L Jackson, Hugh Laurie, Keanu Reeves, Whoopi Goldberg, Wesley Snipes.... So many good actors, i don't think there is a best one. Jim Carey is my favourite though. He's great.
