The wisest person is he or she who knows ones ability and can pass value judgment on others objectively. Even though this may seem obvious, yet, very few can do that. For that, only great philosophers like Plato and Aristotle can be wise. But they only address ideas, ans schools of learning. Those who can lead people into the right path are the wisest, like Christ.

True wisdom recognises that no one person can be 'the wisest' and that competition is for fools, dialogue and questions are for the truly wise to meditate upon and grow. perhaps then it is those who ask good questions who are the wisest and that means you for this few moments. Congratulations

It's hard to say since wisdom is largely subjective.
I'd have to go with the Dali Llama. I seems to have a very clear vision of human nature and how the world really works.

I'd say... the person who invented the video camera, you can capture special moments with that like your kids before they grow old, or you and your spouse before one of you died. Memorys are always with you in your heart forever but its much better for them to be in your eyes.
