Do you like things totally ripened.......?

..... or do you prefer them green?

I pick a lot of produce before they are vine ripe as they say. If I wait too long a squirrel, bunny or bug gets to them. We had a groundhog named George II who would climb the pear trees to get to the best pears. Then you have the row of turkeys sitting on your fence staring at your sweet little watermelons. Ripen at your own peril, I say pick it and enjoy it.

I like big, firm, ripe luscious melons that just hang there with just a drop of dew glistening in the sun and.... Oh, I'm sorry. I was watching the Playboy channel. I prefer fruit and vegetables to be a shade on the unripened side. I love green apples and green pickles ( I can't stand the kosher crimson ones). I prefer things that are just short of their promise. When they are at the peak of perfection there is nothing further to look forward to. That is why I am so lovable. I am light years away from reaching my peak of perfection.

Ripened,....well, except for tomatoes, then I like some of them green to fry,,,but, other things ripened, definitely...

I like my vegetables like my women, totally ripened. Green vegetables and women are not much fun, and green vegetables on green raw women are the worst.

I like them to ripen in my intestines. When that gaseous plume arrives it is like a mustard gas attack.

I have this thing about bananas. They have to be PERFECT. No bruises or if they're too green I won't eat them.
