If someone you love cheats on you but were really drunk and stoned at the time, and are deeply sorry and will do anything to prove themselves, one more Chance. It could have been some horrible mistake. Everyone deserves a second Chance in everything, unless they are unkind or nasty, then they need a second Chance to show they can be a better person.

Wow that's a great question!
There are many factors that one could consider?
- Are you in love w/ the person.
- Is the person a family member, good friend or someone you really don't know in depth.
- Can you forgive & forget?
- Possibley turn the other?
Me personally I usually have that 3 strikes your OUT!
No one likes or enjoys a " Compulsive Liar"
Remember everyone has their " breaking point ".

Humanely maybe once, 'cause if it's known by the "ofender" to do whatever mistake or error again for 2nd time, then it is not an error, is is a weakness that has to be pointed out, seek immediate help for quitting. Once and no more, though the Bible says 70 times seven. Our human nature is weak.

They deserve as many as your willing to give them if it does not compromise your standards. If they compromise your standards then for you personally they should not be given another chance. As in crimes, and act against society dictates the same way. It is a compromise of standards and society has determined if they should get another chance.

It depends in what context. Some people need many chances, others need only a few. Some are only allowed one. It all depends really, doesn't it?

I would have to say depends on what the situation is. If someone is cheating on someone, 1 chance to redeem themselves then they are out.
