Just another example of the double standard that exists in this country with particular cultures.

This is common sense.

Let's say for instance your friend is talking to u and they say something like "What's going on lame-o"?. You'd prob laugh it off.

But if someone who wasn't in your circle called you lame-o you'd take offense.

Same thing.

And believe it or not all blacks don't call each othr the N word. If another black person saw a person they don't know and said "What's up N", there most likely would be a fight. Black ppl use it as both an affectionate term & a negative term.

The prob isn't the word, but the meaning that racism has placed on the word & b/c of that no one should be saying it.

The N word is extremely offensive to many (white and black) of my generation. When I was growing up, the only people who used the word, were truly racist. It was said to mean, I am better, smarter, more worthy of life than you because I am white. I will never use the word and don't like to hear it. I understand my teenagers are growing up with a much different word, but I, for one, will not forget where it originated and what it was like for my black friends who grew up with me in the south.

just dont say it and avoid a lot of hassle. A teacher in britain said n as a joke to a class of 15 year olds. in court he said : "n***** like in the way that black poeple use it not n***** like the rasist way". To try and justify it would be impossible and makes you seem stupid. In britain people dont say the n word any more, black or white. People only say it when impersonating a black american (no offence)

You are an idiot! Get an education and stop listening to rap music. You're a white boy and you are never going to be black....Get that! And unless your ancestors were slaves, you have no right to use the N word. If black people want to put themselves down, that's their business. Your business is to stay out of it.

Any black person who uses the N word is ignorant. Therefore I call an ignorant black person a Nga. If someone non black says hey my nga, theyre calling me an ignorant black person and I will take them out in a heartbeat. If a black person says it to me, I tell them about their ignorant azs then carry on.enough said.

You aren't black. The N word is offensive when said to a black person coming from a white person. Don't act like you weren't in history class. I think you know why the word is offensive. Black people say it to each other for a whole other reason.

Its always going to be that way. I am not racist, but this is from what I see. Black people call themselfs the N word being freindly, but when white people say it, its considered rasist. Which is STUPID!!!! But...then again, lots of people are stupid. They follow others lead...and even though many are not offended really, others are, so they must follow and get mad at you as well.

I think it's all about the history of the word. I personally don't use the word, and get offended if ANYONE uses that word. But think about it like this. I can talk about my mother, but nobody else can or there will be trouble.

I think that the same goes for the B-word. Some women get offended if referred to as bitches, but they refer to themselves and other women as bitches too.

first off you need to stop substituting education with tupac cd's. go to school little boy. you need to learn exactly what the word means and the origin of it. you are a prime example of what happens when parents don't raise their children the right way. why do you even want to say the word? is your world going to stop if you don't say it? why does it even matter? stop paying attention to what you can't do and pay attention to what you can do. like pick up a book or something. aren't you free? then stop fuc*ing complaing.
