Why do Chicken Pox ~ itch so much! HELP?

Take 25-50mg of Benadryl every 4 to 6 hours, it will help. Do not apply it topically, ever. You can also take a good generic anithistamine, like Chlorphenaramine 4mg, around the clock to help with the itching. And on top of those 2 drugs, you can take one generic Claritin daily. Aveeno makes a good moisture oatmeal bath that is very soothing, and Eucerin Calming Cream helps stop the itch. Make sure the bathwater is not too hot, that will make the itch worse. (M.D.'s in family, 3 kids, we know ALL about it.) Get well soon, hon.

Oatmeal baths are the BEST thing for chicken pox. Trust me, I know.

no, i've already had the chicken pox, try soaking in a bath tub with that white powder, carbon soda or something like that
