There will be a new season, and in the meantime there will be a series called "Heroes: Origins" where you see a new Hero each week and the viewers will vote on which characters they want to join the next season.

That's a joke right? Heroes has not only be renewed for a second season beginning September 24, 2007, they are nominated for best drama in the 2007 Emmy Awards.

That show is saving NBC (along with a few of their comedy gems---30 Rock anyone?) so there's no way in heck they'd cancel it. Its coming back :)
