Beautiful!! Maite was Prince's first wife's name. I think Maite Isabelle is gorgeous. And if it is culturally significant to you - go for it, don't worry about what people will say or think or how badly they'll mispronounce. It is a very romantic sounding name, very feminine
My concern with naming my children was what their initials would say. You baby's would be MIG and if culturally, that's OK, go for it.

Good name or not it will never be pronounced My Tay unless you put a pronunciation key with it all the time! I would say spell it how you say it or pick another name!

the way its speeled looks like matey like a pirate thing im just letting you know because people will be pronouncing it wrong her whole life and thats now fun for example my last name is lelii everyone has to say it like 5 times to get it right it really sucks!!

That's a drink that was popular back in the 80's.
Also, you can pronounce it that way, but everyone else will say " mate".

I think its awful honestly but if she's already stuck with it, she can always use her middle name, or a shortened version of it. I think Bella is adorable as a nick name.

it wont be pronounced the way you want it to be.
When I see it I see Mate.
If you have to put a pronounciation at the end of any name.. then it's not such a great pick.
