I would say yes, if the job is making you into a person you are not then I definitely would say quit. Especially since you do have another job lined up. However, I would make sure that you have enough money to get you by until the starting day of your other job.
Good Luck!

Depends if you need the money bad enough. Wait until you have another job lined up. I want to quit one of my jobs cause the boss is a major pain in the ....rear. I can't quit due to needing the money and I can't stand looking for jobs. It's annoying. I only have to be at my other job for five hours. Hopefully the supervisor or his brown-noser won't bother me.Then its a good day. I don't wanna work tonight but I have to if I call in he'll tell me too many people are out so he needs me to come in reguardless of the reason. Plus I could use the money.

Tell the new job that you want something in writing before you quit your old job. Type it up for them if necessary. Tell them that you want to take a vacation before you join the new company so you will be fresh and ready to start.

Give the new company the incentive to give you what you need.

Don't burn your bridges before your chickens are hatched (:P)

August 13th is so far off. Take deep breaths and try to muck your way through it.

Good luck!

If you don't have bills to pay, it's up to you. It is always best to leave on good terms and give notice. Don't burn bridges. Today's pain the butt co-worker could be tomorrow's boss.
