I was only 8 1/2. Is it true that I'd have menopause shortly after age 30 because of this? I hope not. I want kids.

I was 11. I don't think the age you go through menopause has anything to do with when you started your period. I think that genetics plays a big part in it. My mom went through it in her late 30s or early 40s and I don't think her period started early.

I was 13. I dont see why u should start the menopause early because u were young when u started ur period. Why dont u ask ur dr to put ur mind at rest?

No, the average ages to start between are 8 and 16.

i was 12, its a lie, you will probably not go through menopause till you are 50+

I was 12 and have never heard of anything close to that.

Best bet ask your doctor. I'm sure it's a myth.

I'm 13 and still haven't got mine yet. you should just ask a doctor she'll/he'll know.
