I believe it is a science. Most of the people look only at their sun sign, and read their daily horoscope. Sometimes it hits and sometimes it misses.

The reason for this is that we are much more complex than just our Sun (ego), we are our moon sign (how we express our emotions), our rising sign (how other people see us), our Mercury (our thinking process), Venus (what we appreciate), Mars (what we will fight for), etc.

Not only do we look at each of these planets, but we look at what sign and house they fall in. The planet is the energy, the sign is how it is expressed, and the house is what area of life it is expressed in.

Then one must take into consideration the angles these planets form one to another. We look at ,conjunctions (0 deg), sextiles (60 deg) , squares (90 deg), and oppositions (180 deg), as well as the 'lesser' aspects.

All this is based on the month/day/year/hour/minute/
latitude/longitude of your birth.

We astrologers believe that the stars foretell, they do not compel. As human beings we make our choices, and those determine what other things come. Astrology is a good way of understanding one's own psyche.

If astrology is a science, what is used for a lab? What kinds of non-bias testing is used? What science journals publish you test results? How can you eliminate the frauds and the false results? it is fact, why the fear of providing the proof?

Ask someone on YA! how an airplane flies you will get an friendly explanation in detail. Thrust, drag, air pressure and the rest. But ask the hows and whys about astrology, believers turn hostile. Why?

Personally I would think it would be great if someone can prove that paranormal does exist. However, it is not my nature is not to be a blind believer on everything.

Because it is not a science. It is a belief and there is no possible way to test a belief.

Yes, very much I'm a 100% believer in astrology and I don't care who thinks not. I'm a Leo BTW! and everything that horoscopes are somewhat true; there not exactly accurate, but they have some kind of symbolic meaning that represents what I 'm going through; throughout the day. I also believe that aliens exist because I've seen a real one in Roswell, Mexico, God because I can feel him,Santa Claus; because their was a real Santa Claus, but he died. Ghost also exist because I had a close encountering with one.

I've always been fascinated by astrology! I'm an Aquarian, and though some of the astrology books describe me pretty well, I would like to think that we're all largely in control of our own fates and that events are not controlled by the stars.

Its a good way to get your thoughts in order and can be a good guidance, but it shouldnt be taken too seriously.

As a science it is inherantly flawed since it is based on the stars 1000+ years ago, not today. There are now 13 constellations in the ecliptic, but that is ignored. The ecliptic only passes through Scorpio for a couple weeks now as well-also ignored.

I'm a Sagittarius, but I don't really believe in it. It's about as fake as Miss Cleo. It's all a generalization anyways. I can easily say "Since Venus is aligned with the moon you will meet a person that'll change your life"...and that person could be anybody from the delivery boy giving you your pizza to your lawyer serving you your divorce papers. They word it in such a way that it could be anything.

No, nothing has happened to lead me to believe in it. I don't really fit my sign at all

I've never put a lot of stock into it, however I have a friend who does. A lot of the stuff she tells me about myself & my boyfriend and our relationship according to astrology is pretty accurate. I'm a Sagittarius.

Absolutely not. It is preposterous that the position of a planet millions of miles away can have an affect on one's personality or intellect.

Although "The Onion's" weekly horoscopes are quite good, if for reasons other than accuracy.
