Why can't liberals make it in talk radio???

Honestly, why can't they? It seems odd to me. You would think they would want to discuss their side of things just like us conservatives do. Are they just too busy dumbing themselves down with FM radio than worrying about educating themselves about the world around them?

The reason why no liberals ever make it on a talk radio show is because the media is already flooded with liberal news programs, and people just don't care to hear anymore if you can get your fill of it on CNN why turn on Al Franken and listen to the same old tired song and dance for even longer.

They are eternal pessimists. EVERYTHING is wrong, in their world. And President Bush is to blame. They have no vision other than "beat Bush, beat the republicans, gain power!" For what, you might ask? To fundamentally change America. They want a socialist nation where the elites rule the common people. Telling them where to work, how much money they can make, what they will think and believe and what is acceptable behavior. They are weak people thinking that if they gain enough control over the public, that will make them strong. If Americans could see past their "I'm-just-trying-to-help-you" facade, they'd see the desperate thirst for power that drives them to lie, slander, and cheat to gain said power. And that is the truth.
Am I saying that all liberals are like this? No, just the majority of them.

It's simple. The vast majority of talk radio listeners are higher paid, higher skilled people in the workforce. That demographic tends to be more conservative.

The proof is that George Soros dumped tons of money into Air America and it went nowhere. Go to where the audience is. Liberals, in general, do not want to listen to debate. If they did, they would have to question their ideas instead of just taking what they hear in 10 second news bites at face value.

Talk radio, for the most part is caustic and negative. This applies to the right wing as well as the left. I did, however enjoy Al Franken, he knows how to use humor and irony. When it comes to radio I prefer a more balanced discussion such as the programs on NPR. I think this is really more educational, than listening to one sided partisan rants and constant shouting down and putting down the opposition.

Liberals can make it in talk radio. They just have to be nice and polite, and if they insist on being preachy, they need to keep an open mind about it, and not overstep certain boundaries.

Not enough people like listening to gloom and doom that the Libs are so good at spewing.
They only want their agenda to be heard, thats why they are trying to revive the "Fairness Doctrine" bill.
You can bet that they spin everything the exact opposite of what it really is by using their patented "politically correct" verbage system to cover up the foul odor of the piles of crap they are trying to sell.

Liberals preach doom and gloom. No sense of humor. The negativity is draining and gets old very fast, this is why they don't last long on the radio.
