Hello everyone.
Whilst in a drunken haze on Saturday night, I somehow managed to spill a lovely glass of rioja down the front of my favourite white skinny jeans. I've been a bit lazy since then, but last night noticed the stain, washed the jeans.....but the stain remains. Nightmare. I know I should've splashed white wine over it when it happened....but I'd drunk it all. It happens. Don't suppose anyone can come up with some ingenius way of getting rid of the stain without having to resort to buying a new pair? Cheers, dudes.

I swear by Vanish Oxi Action Multi. It comes in a granule form which you can dilute.
First I'd try soaking the jeans in a water & Vanish solution for at least a few hours....probably overnight.
If the stain is still there rub some of the Vanish granules directly on to the satin while the jeans are damp. Leave them for another few hours. Then wash them in the machine at 60 degrees.

Steps
1-Step OneBlot the stain immediately with paper towels. If it is a dry clean only garment do not pretreat the stain and get it as fast as you can to the cleaners. Pretreatment of the stain can cause irreversable damage and the dry cleaner may not be able to remove the stain.
2- Step TwoCombine 1 teaspoon laundry soap or pretreatment (or dish soap, like Dawn) and 1 cup hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Soak a clean sponge in the mixture, squeeze it halfway dry, then gently blot the stain.
3 -Step ThreePlace a dry towel or washcloth between the front and back of the garment if the stain has not penetrated through to the back of the fabric. This will prevent staining on the back of the material.
4 - Step FourReview the washing instructions on the label of the fabric. Heed any special care instructions.
5Step FiveWash in cool water and air dry if the fabric is machine-washable.
6 - Step SixWash gently in the sink with a mild detergent like Woolite if the fabric is hand-wash only.
Tips & Warnings
Always use white paper towels, as colored towels may stain.
Avoid scrubbing or rubbing the stain excessively. This can cause the stain to further penetrate the fabric.

In the laundry section of the grocery are some little yellow bottles called Stain Devils. There is a special formula for red wine. Try that.

When it first happens you can use white wine and it gets rid of the stain. I don't know if it works after it had been through the wash. The only other thing that might work is Oxiclean it seems to get most stains out.

Since they're white I would bleach them. Not a strong solution, just maybe a couple capfuls of liquid bleach in a bucket of water with the jeans. Should work.....
