I think so, one demostration is the medicine, this science like many others has been depeloped recently as a science dedicated to the study of a human being like a machine, for example the farmacology is a science that studies the effects of a medicine inside our body, what are the terapeutic effects, the secoindary effects, the contraindications, but the medicine has forgotten that a human beign is also spirit, soul or whatever you want to call it, and a human being reacts when a drug is asministrated but when you are spiritually damaged theres no science able to cure, when you lay on a bed and there is not more living force, there is no science able to sane ; science has forgotten the real value of the love, the science has invented many weapons too that are able to destroy our people and our home, the earth, for example the global heating, is a product of our own science? yeah, were slowly killing ourselves and our planet because our ambition has won the match
Greetings

To a certain degree, Yes. The plethora of conveniences has constrained lives of people all over the world to strict machine like routines. This has led to an increase in diseases, stress, crimes etc.
Instead of liberating oneself and others and exploring the potential of the human race, we have enslaved ourselves. This was not the goal of Science.

The body is a machine. We have always had that element to us. Science only discovered that fact.
Due to our intelligent nature and our social nature, we live in managed groups, primarily. Property makes law necessary; tribes with common possessions need less written law.
Gadgets have mixed effects which cancel out in that regard. What we need to fear is psychology being used as a weapon to force us into acting like robots.

Bullshit to all those windbags before me.
Science, in principal, is simply the study of the laws that God laid down for the earth to run.
It has not in any way enslaved or mechanized humans.
