It seems to me that everyone is ready and willing to give all control to the government.

Yes, absolutely!! Great point! Everyone is more concerned with government security than being personally responsible for their own actions (liberty). 1/2 our country (Libs) think the government should control healthcare, education, the poor, etc. It's ridiculous. If you want to help the poor, great! Doing it privately is the best way to go instead of the government forcing you to do it via taxes. Just look at how much money was raised for the tsunamis in Thailand or Hurricane Katrina. The private sector always does better than the government. We've become a nation of entitlement. What do I deserve from the government? What does the government OWE me? It's sickening.

My sentiments exactly,you are one of the few people that seem to be out of the bubble.It seems like everyone is just walking around like Dawn of the Dead and don't give two S.H.I.T.S.. about what is going on around them.We are being misled in so many different directions that it is making me nuts.I hope that tomorrow everyone wakes up and smells the right cup of coffee,so a change can happen!

No what you mean is too many people are depending on the government for help. Their freedom is gone when you have to count on big brother for everything.

I feel the same way. Instead of promoting smaller government, many are promoting more government control, gun control, higher taxation,........ The laundry list goes on and on.
