I know everyone TTC asks this question but we've been trying for 8 months and my period should have started on 7/23 yet it hasn't. I had some weird spotting a couple weeks back and some cramping that I didn't pay much attention to and I'm trying desperately hard not to get my hopes up but you know how that goes.... I was wondering if anyone knew anything about how your CM might look if you were pregnant? I just started tracking temperature a few days ago so have no real guidelines on that right now. My CM is dry and what little appears is clear. Are these any indications of anything? I don't want to "waste" another test, how long should I wait? A week?

I think it is safe for you to test now. I ordered tests on earlypregnancytest.com because they are dirt cheap and you can buy them in bulk and they are more sensitive than those at the drug store. I know what you mean about wasting them though. We tried since February and just got a positive this past month. As far as CM goes, I am a little over 6 weeks and mine was very dry at 4 weeks (This is ususally when a woman can find out she is pregnant) and a little sticky and now at 6 and a half weeks, it is kind of "snotty" and more abundant.

Technically you are 2 days late already. You can take a test now if you would like or you could wait another week and see what happens. Just remember, first morning urine for the test. Good luck!

You said you didn't want to waste "ANOTHER" test. Did you already take a pregnancy test? What did it say? If you tested after you missed your period, I would trust the results (they are usually pretty accurate).

If you haven't tested yet, go ahead and test, just make sure you are using your first pee of the day.

most case after you miss you first period, you should wait 3 weeks.
If you have irregular monthly, and you are spoting go check a doctor, it could be some thing else.

I would wait until about Saturday and then I would test. Having bleeding early on could mean pregnancy. Congrats if you are!
