The North American Union (NAU) is the creation of a NAFTA Superhighway including Canada, Mexico, and the USA. The NAU has not been created yet but the government wants to implement it which will get rid of the USA, Mexico, and Canda and make it into one country much like the European Union. The will establish only one currency the "Amero" much like the "Euro." You can research this topic more at some other websites but I was just curious what everyone else thought.

No, it is a clear disadvantage for Mexico, I know you think that is the contrary. NAFTA already proved that is not working as it should be US products enter indiscriminately to Mexico but many Mexican products are banned and not exactly because the quality, that is just an excuse. Moreover, do not forget the troubles that not so well establish European Economies suffered and still are suffering with the change to Euro, Italy as an example. That is why Denmark, Sweden and others are keeping their currency.

The EU is not a single country, but a close, primarily economic, aliance of geographically related states.

NAU isn't a fantastic idea, but neither isn't something to be scared sensless of.

BTW, in the late 80s there were alarmist rumors of an impending currency union with Japan that would threaten US sovreignity. When the UN was first proposed, similarly, there was alarmist opposition by those who feared loss of sovriegnity. Even the Kyotot treaty has gotten that sort of treatment. International agreements do not require participating nations to give up thier independence - virtually no nation would be willing to sign onto them if they did.

What I think is that I don't agree with anything the U.S. govt. creates! There's always a catch aimed at taking something from you.
The only good thing the 'system' has given to me is the ability to see right through its lies and hypocrisy!

Other than that, just keep the Burger Kings open and I'm happy!

Typical. That would be the same government that is building the fence.
It might make more sense to annex the UAE, but if we did that, all the politicians would want to move there and take our government with them.

Hmmm....... ;) LOL !!!

Not just 'no', but 'hell, no'! These are fighting words! It is almost a joke - what happens when you merge a superpower, a socialist country, and a third world corrupt country? Nothing good.

Can you list your source please? On a more personal note, I think it would be unconstitutional. Why would we want to strap ourselves with countries whose economies are in far worse shape than ours? It would be economic suicide to do this.
