1. Congress has no control over gas prices except via taxes.
2. So you would rather still have telephone switchboard operators? All jobs that can be done less expensively somewhere else so that products and services are less expensive and more competetive should be done somewhere else. This makes room for better, higher paying jobs.
3. Look no further than ethanol (a program supported by more Democrats than Republicans) for high grocery prices. The mandatory production of ethanol has driven up the price of corn, leading to a price escalation across the board. This is because corn is used as feed for most animal products. This means that all meats have gone up in price. Additionally, as corn became more expensive, some producers have switched to other grains, driving up those prices as well.
4. A hypocrite is someone who preaches something that he doesn't believe. These men are not hypocrites, they are simply weak--they believe something but are unable to live up to it. But, if you're looking for people who are comitting criminal or immoral acts, you can find just as many Democrats as Republicans. Vice is not party specific.
5. To say that Republicans don't care about the middle class is patently false. They care about the entire country--freedom and opportunity to be all you can be by removing obstacles to these principles.

Your 5 points prove that you are or you dont know about:

1. Kerry Supporter.
2. No idea of how Economy works (Oil price goes up because of Supply and Demand. Gas was 10 cents back in the Ike years and 99 cents in Clinton Years so Clinton must have been 10 times worse president than Ike.)
3. Hypocrite - What happened to Jerry Studds?
4. Companies make profits pay taxes and create jobs. What do Democrats give us?!

1. Had a lot to do with Katrina, then the stupid ethanol thing, which a lot of democrats voted for.

2. Due to the tax system in the US. GOP should have implemented the Fair Tax

3. No evidence

4. Haggard is not elected. Foley did nothing illegal. Vitter has not admitted to paying for sex, only paying for companionship. Even still, not really relevant. Lots of democrat hypocracy

5. Not true at all. You look at life through class warfare.

The voters will vote for Republicans because they are the lesser of the two evils. Democrats have been in control and have shown their true stripes

I vote GOP
1) They are still the party that values morals. A few bad apples do not spoil the bushel.
2) They are the more patriotic party
3) Fully committed to the war in Iraq
4) Lower taxes

Your reasoning is flawed.
1) Gas prices are due to economics. Not political parties.
2) Jobs were lost during the Clinton years. Outsourcing is a good thing mostly. It allows business to compete on the international level.
3) Again economics at work here, not political party
4) OK, a few bad apples. Dem. party has them as well. Clinton (both of them) just to name two.
5) Um no...over 60% of Americans think like the GOP and most will vote that was as well.

What have your dems done about gas prices? Groceries that have gone are going up because of ethanol which is a fake solution to a problem dems have caused by stopping drilling and the building of new refineries in the name of the environment. So fun every problem you listed is caused by dems, wake up.

Oh and in case you didn't know the "big oil" companies provide energy to middle class families so they can be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They pass every tax right on to you. Businesses don't get taxed at all, every tax is paid for by the people since they are the only ones who can pay, get it?

You forgot Randy Duke Cunningham in your shamed congressmen list. If you're going to put together a good list of shamed congressmen you might as well toss in one that's doing jail time.

Now, let me respond to your question:

But Republicans have no corner on the grift/scam business. Jefferson Davis (D-La.)was busted with $90,000 in cash in his freezer. He is under indictment. You also have Democratic congressmen who are on the take from Abrahmoff.

Michael Moore pointed out that Hilary Clinton is the number 2 recipient of HMO/drug company money and if you notice she's barely moved on universal health care since her attempt in 1993. He thinks she's bought and paid for and based on her actions, I'd agree.

Democrats have not made any effort to curtail the skyrocketing price of groceries so does that mean they are complicit at some level?

Whether the democratic party is fighting for the middle class is debateable since they are usually fighting for entitlements for the unemployed and under employed, which squeeze those of us in the middle class, making it harder to make ends meet.

maximum gay human beings have a tendency to visit the coasts, the place Republicans are greater fiscally orientated and much less pondering policing morality. it is extremely actual in the East (occasion is Rudy Giuliani). and because many gay human beings earn greater money than familiar, you could discover why they might vote for company pastimes and decrease taxes noticeably in interior of sight elections.

at this point, id settle for honest, regardless of party affiliation. Both dems and repubclicans can (and will) make mistakes. What we need is someone with common sense. Both parties seem lacking in that arena. (for the record, i'm a Dem/centurist)
