usually it's done as a gang-rape.

Yes, and as been said, it is usually a bigger/older person and a younger man--sometimes mothers to sons. However, there are cases in which a man is kidnapped, tied down, and forced into sex. A few years ago, there were two women (a mother and daughter) who kidnapped a man and continuously raped him, then murdered him. Obviously, this is unusual, but it can be, and has been done.
But most men who are raped are raped by other men--and that is far more common than people think. Some researchers have said that male rapists often have been raped themselves (by men) and are asserting their heterosexuality by raping women (if anyone knows who Paul Bernardo is, he was apparently sexually assaulted by his father). In my view, this is a significant issue, and all the more reason for men to have 1) shelters, 2) counsellors, 3) emotional outlets for their reactions about being victimized in that way. There's not a single shelter for men where I live, and I don't think that's right. I am a feminist, and I'm not pandering to any man, but given how significant an effect rape has on men, there should be something available to them when it happens. As of now, it's a "hidden" issue, and men are not encouraged to discuss it. I have personally interviewed at least 15 men (all of them former/current drug addicts) who were raped by men. And if this problem is as big a I think it is, the masculinism movement should be fighting for representation on it. It's horrible when it happens to either men or women. Interesting question.

I've heard about it since I go to this section of the forum but I had never heard of it before. I knew of men raping men (usually in jail) and of physical and verbal violence among couples, but not rape.
I'm pointing that out because the media doesn't seem to talk much about it. Men should be encouraged to talk about it and they should have counselling programs. I agree with Teeleecee (or whatever her name is)

Actually, yes. I investigated several over the years. Usually an older woman raping a younger man, but a couple of them involved adult vs adult.

I'm with Teeleecee on this one.
Also, I think men end up raping women or other men more so than women because as a society "we" teach them to "be a man" (as opposed to a little girl), not show any emotions. It's no wonder that some go crazy and do these awful things.

Have you hear of Aileen Wuornos who they based the movie, "Monster", off of?
I guess "Penetration" is still the "Control" factor ... so it's objects up the tail. Worst I heard (out of Aileen) is a woman killed a man with penatrating him with an egg beater. I think the spinning destroyed the intestines. I forgot the name of this insain woman.

It happens but the media never reports it.
Now if a blond white American Women is raped it will be reported 24/7.

Have you ever seen the movie, "Antwone Fisher"?
He talks about how an aunt raped him as a boy. He had problems his entire life about this.
This isn't a funny subject, Dylan.

Yes. It is as ugly and violent as M-to-F rape. Seems like it can't be done, but it can.
