i rather have sportcenter report on highschool sports, volleyball, or even ninja warrior than Whos Now.its like the segment is 10minutes long yet their report on a great baseball game- at the most-last for a minute. they need to bring back the not-so-top 10 plays.

Absolutelty. This is just another example of how ESPN has just gotten too big and powerful for their own good.
Instead of reporting the news, they are trying to create it.
This particular segment may be worst one they've ever tried. I actually feel bad for the legitimate broadcasters they force into participating in this segment. My guess would be the broacasters hate it as well.

I like SportsCenter, but the "Who's Now" is a joke. The standards, as they describe them, are centered on not only how good an athlete the person is, but also who is most "hip" in their personal lives as well. If I cared about who had the most active night life, I'd watch "Entertainment Tonight" or read some sleazy gossip magazine.
I wish ESPN would truly just be the "sports" channel they are supposed to be...........(sigh)

That crap is the worst. I can't believe they spend so much time on it each hour (about 10 min--I timed it) when you don't even get all the scores let alone a highlight from each game. It's ALMOST as bad as spending 10min/show wondering if JaMarcus Russell would be the top pick in the NFL draft everyday for 3 months.
And to top it off, Stuart Scott is the MC. I can't stand him.

I'm with ya that segment is a load BS and it doesn't have anything to do with what people tune in to watch I've started to watch Final Score on FSN and it's nice b/c it just does highlights and cuts out all the BS it is a truely good show give it a try ;)

It was kind of interesting, but now its not even that good anymore. Everyone knows Tiger Woods is going to win it all. Him or Peyton Manning, or LeBron.
Adam Sandler and Kevin James make it pretty funny though.
And to the guy above, they say it just about every show, that its only based on Americans.

Sounds like no one likes it. But I bet the folks up in Bristol believe it is a great thing - kinda like the way they feel you guys poker for 12 hours a day. Join the ranks of us who no longer watch ESPN. Maybe then they would get the message.

I'm not tired of it... the segment reminds me that it is time to change the channel!
It could possibly be the WORST thing ever put on Sportscenter!
...and includes Soccer and Spelling Bee highlights!
