Never heard of a gargoyle there. There was an abbey there that was destroyed about 1000 years ago. The monks claimed to find the caskets of Arthur and Guinevere along the wreckage of the foundation when they were rebuilding (I believe the caskets were helpfully labelled, according to the story.). The bodies were put into a single black marble tomb that was set before the altar of the new abbey, and it remained there until the 16th century, when Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries. He had the expensive black marble carried off for his treasury (the same treatment he gave to other expensive shrines). There's no record of what happened to the bodies. I am guessing that they were burnt, which is what happened to saints such as St. Thomas Becket when their shrines were dismantled.

Arthur's tomb brought a lot of pilgrims and, thus, money, so its entirely possible that the story was entirely made up. No evidence remains of either burial.

Never heard of a "glastonbury gargoyle," but if you go to Glastonbury (glasst-on-bree), England, you can find the ruins of a lovely cathedral, and there is a plaque marking a tomb which is rumored to be the final resting place of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere.
