or is she really? I've known her over 10 yrs. she lives just a few hrs from me but never wants to come up to see me...I've gone to see her though! (she will go to her other friends house who lives just as far from her as I do)....& when I call her, she always tries to get me off the phone in a hurry...She always has an excuse! What is her problem? We've had our disagreements & stuff but when I ask her if shes mad at me about anything she says: NO!
Should I just forget her or try to make believe its a friendship?

I would say that she doesn't really consider you a friend. There doesn't have to be something in particular that you have done. It could be that you two no longer truly have shared interests. Don't call and see if she calls you. If not, let her go. Don't chase after a friendship with anyone. These things happen.

It sounds like she is bothered by you. If I were you I would just forget about her. What is the point of trying to make a connection w/ someone if they act like that? There are plenty of other amazing people you could get to know. I would just quit trying to contact her and look for some new friends that are closer to your area.

If you have already brought up the issue with her without resolution, then take a break from her. Don't just give up, she may realize that she has not heard from you in a while or seen you, and decide to improve her relationship with you. First talk to her about how you feel.

Dont call her up for sometime. when u meet her talk to her in a natural manner -- dont leave an impression as if u r dying for her friendship. if she doesnt want to talk to u -- just let it be -- u can have a thousand more friends -- she is not the only one...
