Total Eclipse of the Heart is the ultimate breakup song, and hearing that as a kid, I don't remember seeing the video.
I hear that song now and it brings back memories, but I wouldn't say I like the song enough to buy the CD.
A song's video has nothing to do with whether or not I like a song, because I don't really watch MTV much because I don't want to burn my eyes.

Yeah, when I like a song and then see the video and it sucks, its wierd or the singer is really not what I expected, it kind of ruins the song for me cuz i can visualize the bad video. But it doesn't always ruin the song, it just doesn't help.

There is a new little country gall who sings "tears on my guitar" a cute viedo, but on the grand olde oprery, it was a complete stinker. Yea the videos make her for sure.
