I don't have a maternal instinct till now - I am 24. I have not dreamt as a young child of the day when I will be a bride. I don't care about the day when I will be a bride, I don't care about marriage. I don't press any guy I am with into marriage, and frankly I don't want marriage. Don't want kids either.
Should I go to the doctor for help??

There's no reason to think there's anything wrong with you from what you've said.
You aren't obsessed by marriage (why should you be; if you change your mind later, fine; if not, fine); you don't want kids (see previous point).
There's no law that everyone has to marry by a certain age, or even at all; ditto the having of the kids.
24 is a good time to think of other things, such as what to do for a living.
Uh doctor? I don't see why.

I say not everyone wants children and that's normal for some. For the benefit of the doubt I would see a social worker and discuss how you feel to make sure you're not depressed or your hormones aren't messed up. If it seems ok then spend your life the way you want to don't live the way other people live. If family or friends put pressure on you to have a family I would say something like" I'm glad having a family was a good choice for you I don't feel that it is my choice"

Kudos to you for recognizing it! You are certainly not alone. There are lots of people who feel the same way you do, but they go through with it anyway because that is society's 'norm'. maybe that is why the divorce rate is what it is and why kids today are in so much trouble. But no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Live your life, find out who you are before you dedicate the rest of your life to family. If/When the feeling comes, you'll know. Again, kudos!

There's nothing wrong with you. 24 is very young to get married nowadays. And plenty of people don't want kids.

Please don't go to the doctor! You are unique! You do not need him! If you think about smth and ask questions, that means you are considering smth a problem, so you are interested in it, no matter from what point of view! :)

Everyone is different. You sound upset that you dont want such things. So that means you desire them or you just desire to be like everyone else? Its best to decide what would make you feel good and follow that.
