Do men have no respect these days?

Question

Sometimes I cant even walk out of my house with out getting cat-called or other things such as car honks, whistles, or other lewd guestures. This even happens when I am walking with my my husband! Have they no reapsect? And the majority of all this unwanted attention comes from mexican men. I am not trying to be raciest or say that all hispanics are like this, but they really are the majority of ones that do these kinds of things. Once when I was driving, I was being followed home by a car of hispanics. I kept trying to get away, but they kept following, so I drove to the police station and then they got the hint and left me alone. I am just so tired of all of it. Does anything like this happen to anyone else? What are your stories/opinions.
Oh, and also I dont do anything to get this unwanted attention, I dont dress slutty, I mostly wear long skirts and t-shirts.

Thank Hollywood, many foreigners assume US women are tramps like in the movies, and they have no respect for you. I've been to 4 different cities in Mexico, also Honduras, Argentina and Paraguay and didn't see men acting with their own women the way they do with ours. Similarly, I've read about american women being groped in cabs in arabic countries. They wouldn't dare do that to Arabic women.

Sure, what woman at one point or another hasnt had unwanted attention from men. Ive had it from white men as well as hispanics and other races too, so I think your point of saying mostly hispanics just has something to do with your area. Just ignore the catcalls or shoot them a nasty look and then ignore them, dont give them any other attention at all. Some people just have no respect or manners and unfortantly there is nothing you can do but ignore them.

Men will be men whichever country they are from - even if you are with a spouse etc this will never stop them admiring someone they think is really nice you see it in every day life !

this happens to me ,too. and i'm 53! and it is mostly mexicans here in california, but i moved to arkansas for 2 years and it was redneck white guys! some even stopped to ask if i was "working"! men are pigs, for the most part.

Its to bad that people do this to you, but u can easly fix this problem. Just buy some pepper spary stop your car, and when they get near u spary there eyes with it and drive away.

this happends to my sister to, usually by workers, also mexicans, that are poorer than the average person where i live. i think they honk and yell because they think its funny and that is probably why they follow you home, they think its funny to do things like that.

I personally think its stupid and disrespectful and i don't have anything against mexicans, but its mostly them that do it.

they are usually construction workers by the way.

yer i have this problem women follow me all the time sometimes well this happend last night actualy i got home from work and there was a realy atractive women in my bed an i was like wow do i now you and she was like na but i know you come here boy ok well thats a lie but if that did happen i wouldnt mind whats your problem ???????????
